Deb Sprecker is the Executive Director for the Todd & Mary Heistand Family Foundation (HFF). A private foundation with a mission of multiplying opportunities for children in poverty, HFF has been an active funding partner with organizations in the greater Omaha-Council Bluffs Metro, in Southwest Iowa, and in international settings since 2016.

Sprecker lives in Woodbine, Iowa. She’s been involved in comprehensive community development projects & downtown revitalization and is a Board Director for a nonprofit community childcare center, Building Blocks Academy, in her hometown.

A small-town enthusiast, Sprecker has lived in rural communities in Kansas, Missouri, and Iowa: “Some of the most creative and tenacious people I know live in rural America. It’s a real pleasure to partner with community leaders and organizations working every day for kids and families.”
