Christina Bateman is a lifelong resident of Atlantic, Iowa. She attended Iowa Western Community College and later earned her bachelor’s degree and MBA from Bellevue University in 2009.

She and her husband, Joe, have been married for 14 years and have six children—Noah, Jace, Tegan, and three daughters, Faith, Belle, and Reese, who have passed away. Christina is also a stepmom to Joe’s four adult sons and a proud grandma to five grandchildren.

Christina spent eight years working as a project manager at her family’s commercial construction company, Allied Engineering, where she helped manage projects like schools and hospitals. She later became a Realtor with Meyer and Gross Real Estate Co., a role she’s held for over 10 years.

In her free time, Christina enjoys reading, walking, watching the Hawkeyes, and spending time with her kids. She is excited to serve on the Community Foundation for Western Iowa Board and looks forward to sharing ideas and resources between the Foundation and the Atlantic community.
